BYU-Washington State Will Feature Two Solid Color Uniform Combinations

PULLMAN, Washington – BYU-Washington State has taken on a more prominent national stage this Saturday after the dismissal of Nick Rolovich as WSU’s head coach. When people from around the country tune in to watch the game, they’ll see a solid uniform matchup.

Both BYU and Washington State will wear one solid color on their uniforms for the afternoon kick (1:30 p.m. MT) on the Palouse.

BYU is going with an all-white uniform combination that features navy blue decals, stripes, and decals. This is the eighth different uniform BYU will wear this season. The Cougars dressed in white and blue have 26 total combinations to choose from.

Washington State is rolling with an All-Crimson look.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding the Washington State coaching staff this week, the Cougs from the Palouse come into this matchup on a three-game winning streak. On the other hand, BYU is looking to get back in the win column for the first time since an October 1 win over Utah State.

This will be BYU’s first-ever meeting with Pullman. It’s the fifth meeting ever between the two schools and the first since 2012. BYU leads the series 3-1, with Washington State’s lone victory coming in 1989 when Ty Detmer was BYU’s quarterback.

BYU last wore an all-white with navy blue numbers and stripes last season against Western Kentucky in what they called “ghost white.” With Halloween a little over a week away, the ghost-white can be applied here again.
