BYU Football Releases Uniform Combination For Trip To Baylor

PROVO, Utah – The weekly tradition of BYU football unveiling a different uniform combination rolls on. For this week’s trip to future Big 12 Conference foe Baylor, BYU is sticking with the navy blue helmets.

After falling to Boise State in the navy blue lids at home, BYU will pair up the navy helmets with a white jersey and navy blue pants.
Members of the BYU football team made each of their 12 game uniform selections back in the spring. At that time, QB Baylor Romney was naturally asked which uniform he would like to see the team wear against his namesake. This navy, white, and navy combo was the pick.

You have to go back to 2019 to find the last time BYU wore the white jersey with navy blue numbers and stripes paired with navy blue pants. The last time it happened was in 2019 against UMass. A 56-24 victory over the Minutemen.
BYU also wore the white jersey with navy blue pants in a memorable overtime win at Tennessee.
No. 19 BYU travels to face Baylor this Saturday in Waco at 1:30 p.m. (MDT). This is the first meeting against the Bears since a matchup in Provo during BYU’s 1984 National Championship season.
Baylor has been known to switch up their helmets and uniform combinations in recent years. The Bears have green, white, yellow, and throwback helmets in their uniform identity.

vs. Arizona (Las Vegas) – Royal Rush (Win, 24-16)
UTAH – Royal blue uniform, white pants, white helmet with royal decal plus 9/11 tribute (Win, 26-17)
ARIZONA STATE – All-white uniform with royal blue accents (Win, 27-17)
USF – Navy blue uniform with a white helmet, white pants (Win, 35-27)
at Utah State – White helmet with royal blue decals and “Giff” facemask, white jersey, royal blue pants (Win, 34-20)
BOISE STATE – All-Navy Blue (Loss, 17-26)
at Baylor – Navy helmet, white jersey, navy pants
