BYU Football Wearing White-Out Uniform For Arizona State Game

PROVO, Utah – BYU football continues to bring the swag each week with their uniforms.
This week, the 23rd ranked and undefeated Cougars welcome No. 19 Arizona State into Provo. It’s the first meeting between the old WAC rivals since 1998.

When you see BYU come out onto the LaVell Edwards Stadium field against the Sun Devils, they’ll be sporting a “white-out” look.
BYU is going to wear white uniforms, pants, and helmets with royal blue accents. This uniform combination was brought back into BYU’s uniform identity in 2019, and it’s produced a lot of wins.
Since bringing it back into the rotation of gameday threads two years ago, BYU is undefeated wearing this combination. BYU is 4-0 with this combination. The wins include some big games at Utah State (2019), at Navy (2020), at Boise State (2020), and UCF (Boca Raton Bowl 2020).
Kalani Sitake’s crew would love to bring that record to 5-0 against an ASU team that comes into Provo with a 2-0 mark early in the 2021 season after wins over Southern Utah and UNLV.
Since 2014, BYU has designated “white-out” games where they ask fans to wear white apparel. BYU is 4-3 in those games, with the three losses coming against Power Five opponents. Last year, BYU’s “white-out” game was against Western Kentucky. The Cougars wore an all-white look with navy blue accents in that game.
BYU plans to roll out 12 different uniform combinations throughout the 2021 season. In total, BYU has 26 different uniform combinations within its current uniform identity.

vs. Arizona (Las Vegas) – Royal Rush (Win, 24-16)
UTAH – Royal blue uniform, white pants, white helmet with royal decal plus 9/11 tribute (Win, 26-17)
ARIZONA STATE – All-white uniform with royal blue accents
