Former BYU Players Find End Zone During Week 1 Of NFL Season

SALT LAKE CITY – Multiple former BYU star reached the end zone during their team’s opening games of the 2022 NFL season.

Here is how all of the players with ties to the state of Utah performed during the first week of the season.

Former Utah Utes

Leki Fotu – Defensive Lineman – Arizona Cardinals (0-1)

The former Utah defensive lineman had two tackles in Arizona’s 44-21 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Javelin Guidry – Cornerback – Arizona Cardinals (0-1)

The former Utah defensive back and the Cardinals suffered a 44-21 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Tyler Huntley – Quarterback – Baltimore Ravens (1-0)

The former Utah quarterback and the Ravens beat the New York Jets, 24-9.

Marcus Williams – Safety – Baltimore Ravens (1-0)

The former Utah defensive back had 12 total tackles, 10 solo tackles, one pass breakup, and an interception in Baltimore’s 24-9 win over the New York Jets.

Zack Moss – Running Back – Buffalo Bills (1-0)

had six carries for 15 yards and six catches for 21 yards in Buffalo’s 31-10 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday, September 8. Moss also lost one fumble.

Jaylon Johnson – Cornerback – Chicago Bears (1-0)

The former Utah defensive back had four total tackles, three solo tackles, and one tackle for loss in Chicago’s 19-10 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

The former Utah offensive lineman and the Broncos suffered a 17-16 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday, September 12.

Tim Patrick – Wide Receiver – Denver Broncos (0-1)
