Former BYU RB Jamaal Williams Scores 2nd TD Of Eagles-Lions Game

SALT LAKE CITY – Former BYU and current Detroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams ran into the end zone for his second touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Lions hosted the Eagles at Ford Field on Sunday, September 11.
With 14:16 left in the fourth quarter, Williams battled up the middle for a one-yard score.
The former BYU star’s run cut Philadelphia’s lead to 38-28.

The play capped a six-play, 75-yard drive that lasted 2:25.
After his second score, Williams had 11 carries for 28 yards and two touchdowns. He added one catch for two yards out of the backfield.
The running back’s first touchdown of the game came on a one-yard run with 10:18 left in the opening quarter. Williams’ first TD run gave the Lions a 7-0 lead.

Williams is in his sixth NFL season and second with the Lions. Last season, he ran the ball 153 times for 601 yards and three touchdowns.
He also added 26 catches for 157 yards.
During his NFL career, the former BYU star has run for 2,586 yards and 13 touchdowns. He’s scored a total of 21 touchdowns.
Detroit’s game against Philadelphia is televised on FOX.
