Reports: Former Herriman OL Taken To Hospital After Raiders Game

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Herriman Mustangs and current Las Vegas Raiders offensive lineman Andre James reportedly went to the hospital following a loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Chargers hosted the Raiders at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, September 11.
Los Angeles defeated Las Vegas, 24-19.
According to The Athletic’s Tashan Reed, the center was “slow to get up” after Las Vegas’ final offensive play of the afternoon. “#Raiders OL Andre James left SoFi Stadium in an ambulance. He was slow to get up on the final offensive play on the game,” Reed posted on Twitter.

Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that James “looked to be in good spirits” and the hospital visit appeared “precautionary more than anything.”

ESPN’s Paul Gutierrez added that James was smiling as he left the stadium.
“#Raiders center Andre James leaves SoFi Stadium in ambulance, sitting up and seemingly alert. Was in locker room in sunglasses and smiling. Looked like he was roughed up on last offensive play for LV,” Gutierrez tweeted.

Following a standout career at Herriman High, James attended UCLA. He went undrafted in 2019 and signed the Raiders. He’s played for the organization since joining the league. James has played in 46 games for the Raiders.
With the loss, the Raiders fell to an 0-1 record.
Las Vegas’ next game is at home against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, September 18 at 2:25 p.m. (MDT) on CBS.
