Utah State Football Hires Ray Brown To Be Cornerbacks Coach

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State football announced on Tuesday afternoon that they have hired Ray Brown to be the program’s cornerbacks coach.
Ray Brown joins Utah State football after spending two seasons as the cornerbacks coach at Troy. He started his coaching career after he was done playing football, where he played cornerback for East Central University from 2008-11. Brown became the running backs coach and run game coordinator for his alma mater from 2010-11.
After that stint, he went to Oklahoma Baptist, where he was the special teams coordinator and defensive backs coach for one season.

Brown then went to Washington State as a defensive graduate assistant for the 2013 season before serving in the same position at Arizona State for two seasons from 2014-15. After his GA stints, Brown went to Abilene Christian to be the defensive backs coach from 2016-18. Brown went to Troy after that and spent two years with the Trojans.
Blake Anderson’s staff is pretty much set for the 2021 season as he begins his first season as the head coach of Utah State. Here is the entire coaching staff as it stands on Tuesday, February 9:
