LOGAN, Utah – Former Utah State quarterback Chuckie Keeton is returning to the Aggies program with the new coaching staff.
Utah State hired Blake Anderson officially on Saturday as the new head coach, replacing Gary Andersen. The Aggies will officially introduce Anderson on Monday morning.
On Sunday night, Anderson tweeted a picture with five other guys and said it was their “first staff dinner.” Keeton is in the picture.

Keeton played for the Aggies from 2011-15. Through his playing career, Keeton was named first team All-WAC in 2012. He began his coaching career as the quarterbacks coach for Oregon State under Gary Andersen from 2016-17. The Houston, Texas native returned to Utah State as the quarterbacks coach for the 2018 season before going with Matt Wells as a graduate assistant at Texas Tech, where he spent the last two seasons.
It uncertain what position Keeton will have on the new staff under Anderson but quarterbacks coach would make the most sense.
