Utah State Names UMass Assistant Micah James As Offensive Line Coach

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah State head football coach Blake Anderson announced that former UMass assistant coach Micah James has been hired as the Aggies’ offensive line coach.
USU announced James’ addition on Friday, January 15.
James started his coaching career at Arkansas State under Anderson.
Tucker will once again coach under Anderson as well as new Utah State offensive coordinator, Anthony Tucker.

During his time with Anderson, the Red Wolves had a 16-10 record, including a 13-3 conference mark.
James has been a part of two conference championship teams and reached three bowl games.
During his first season at Massachusetts, the Minutemen’s offensive line unit cut down on their sacks allowed by 69.2 percent.

James is joining a Utah State program that posted a 1-5 record in 2020.
