SALT LAKE CITY- There is nothing quite like the rush of college football signing day. Now that we get to experience two signing days, it’s double the rush.

Early Signing Day for college football officially opened on December 21, 2022, and the Utes did a really good job of closing the deal on some big names that made the 2023 signing class Utah football’s best ever.

Due to the high-packed action back in December, and several key guys announcing one more ride, it’s unlikely February’s later signing period will be as big for Utah football, due to space constraints. Still there are one, maybe two or so names that we’re keeping and eye on and will update the list as they come through.

For those who pay very close attention, Randle was a name you’ve seen floating around in connection with the Utes, however, wasn’t necessarily a sure thing, but made it official Wednesday morning for National Signing Day.

First negative news of the day 3:58 pm:

• Was told to not expect Carlos Wilson, Three-Star Athlete from Sacramento, CA to be a part of Utah’s 2023 signing class anymore. Wilson ran into some personal issues that won’t make it possible for him to join the Utes. Unfortunate, but seems to happen at least once every recruiting cycle and doesn’t change the outstanding day Utah has had.
