Utah Football Receives Commitment From 4-Star QB Mack Howard

SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah football program has received a commitment from four-star quarterback Mack Howard on Saturday afternoon.
Mack Howard is a four-star quarterback from Oxford, Mississippi that will join the Utah football program in the 2023 class.
Howard announced his decision on Twitter on Saturday afternoon.

According to the 247Sports Composite ratings, Howard is the No. 13 quarterback in the nation and the third ranked prospect in the state of Mississippi. He was offered by Utah on January 26, 2022 and visited Salt Lake City on Thursday.
Howard received offers from Utah, Arkansas State, Cincinnati, Houston, Kansas, Louisville, and Middle Tennessee State. He received interest from Florida State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Wisconsin.
Howard is the second prospect to verbally commit to the program, joining three-star athlete from Tooele High School, Mateaki Helu, who committed on August, 20, 2021.
The Utes signed 17 players in their 2022 recruiting class, headlined by Lander Barton, Jaylon Glover, Nate Johnson, Justin Medlock and Carson Tabaracci. They also brought in four transfers, including Gabe Reid from Stanford, Mohamoud Diabate from Florida, Landon Morris from Syracuse and Logan Kendall from Idaho.
