Former BYU Running Backs Shine During Week 8 Of NFL Season

SALT LAKE CITY – A pair of former BYU running backs stood out out with their performances in Week 8.

Here is how all of the players with ties to the state of Utah performed during the eighth week of the 2022 NFL season.

Former Utah Utes

NEW: Former Ute Zack Moss traded to Indianapolis Colts 

Leki Fotu – Defensive Lineman – Arizona Cardinals (3-5)

The former Utah defensive lineman had five total tackles and three solo tackles in Arizona’s 34-26 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Tyler Huntley – Quarterback – Baltimore Ravens (5-3)

The former Utah quarterback and the Ravens beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 27-22, on Thursday, October 27.

Marcus Williams – Safety – Baltimore Ravens (5-3)

The former Utah defensive back is currently on Baltimore’s Injured Reserve list. The Ravens beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 27-22, on Thursday, October 27.

Zack Moss – Running Back – Buffalo Bills (6-1)

The former Utah running back and the Bills beat the Green Bay Packers, 27-17, on Sunday Night Football.

Jaylon Johnson – Cornerback – Chicago Bears (3-5)

The former Utah defensive back had one tackle and a pass breakup in Chicago’s 49-29 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Garett Bolles – Offensive Line – Denver Broncos (3-5)

The former Utah offensive lineman is currently on Denver’s Injured Reserve list with a leg injury. The Broncos beat the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in London, 21-17.

The former Utah defensive back had three tackles in Indianapolis’ 17-16 loss to the Washington Commanders.

Mitch Wishnowsky – Punter – San Francisco 49ers (4-4)

The former Utah punter punted three times with an average of 41.0 yards per kick in San Francisco’s 31-14 win over the Los Angeles Rams.
