Adidas Releasing Donovan Mitchell Shoes First Worn During NBA All-Star Game

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Adidas Basketball announced the release of the D.O.N Issue #1 colorway first worn by Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell during the 2020 NBA All-Star.
The release features the “Solar Red” version of Mitchell’s signature D.O.N Issue #1 shoes on Friday, February 28 at 1 a.m. (MDT).
Mitchell first wore the “Solar Red” shoes during his first appearance in the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, February 16.

The new colorway features black and solar red colors with Mitchell’s iconic spider logo on the tongue of the shoe.
The first colorway of Mitchell’s D.O.N Issue #1 shoes were blue and red based on a partnership with Marvel’s Spider-Man. The shoes were released on July 1, 2019. A later colorway for kid’s shoes featured a partnership with Star Wars.
In the months since the first colorway was released, Adidas has released additional versions including more Spider-Man colorways, a Mailman/Purple Mountain edition, the Star Wars edition for kids, and more.

Mitchell has worn the shoes on the court during Jazz games since the 2019 NBA Playoffs. He’s worn retail versions as well as some colorways not available to the public.
