SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Pictures of the supposed second generation of Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell’s signature Adidas shoes have leaked online.

Photos released on Saturday, December 14 via Weibo claim to feature D.O.N Issue #2 shoes. Adidas has not confirmed the alleged second generation shoes.

A Crayola logo is shown on the sole of one of the shoes in the photos. A potential collaboration for the second edition of Mitchell’s shoes wouldn’t be unusual.

The first colorway of Mitchell’s D.O.N Issue #1 shoes were blue and red based on a partnership with Marvel’s Spider-Man. The shoes were released on July 1, 2019. A later colorway for kid’s shoes featured a partnership with Star Wars.

In the months since the first colorway was released, Adidas has released additional versions including more Spider-Man colorways, a Mailman/Purple Mountain edition, the Star Wars edition for kids, and more.

Mitchell has worn the shoes on the court during Jazz games since the 2019 NBA Playoffs. He’s worn retail versions as well as some colorways not available to the public.

According to, the D.O.N Issue #2 shoes will be released in August 2020 for $100. That pricing would stay consistent with the D.O.N Issue #1 shoes.
