Former BYU QB Taysom Hill Tosses Pair Of Touchdowns In Week 14

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU and current New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill threw a pair of touchdown passes during Week 14.

Hill now has four passing touchdowns this season after tossing two against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Here is how all of the players with ties to the state of Utah fared during the 14th week of the season.

Kylie Fitts – Linebacker – Arizona Cardinals (7-6)

The former Utah linebacker had a tackle and a forced fumble on special teams during Arizona’s 26-7 win over the New York Giants.

The former Utes defensive lineman had one quarterback hit during Arizona’s 26-7 win over the New York Giants.

Zack Moss – Running Back – Buffalo Bills (10-3)

The former Utah running back had 13 carries for 43 yards in Buffalo’s 26-15 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Jaylon Johnson – Cornerback – Chicago Bears (6-7)

The former Utes cornerback had three total tackles during Chicago’s 36-7 win over the Houston Texans.

Garett Bolles – Offensive Tackle – Denver Broncos (5-8)

The former Utah offensive lineman and the Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers, 32-27.

Tim Patrick – Wide Receiver – Denver Broncos (5-8)

The former Utes receiver had three receptions for 36 yards and a touchdown in Denver’s 32-27 win over the Carolina Panthers.

John Penisini – Defensive Tackle – Detroit Lions (5-8)

Marquise Blair – Safety – Seattle Seahawks (9-4)

After week two, the former Utah safety was ruled out for the season with a knee injury by Seattle head coach Pete Carroll. Seattle beat the New York Jets, 40-3.

Alex Smith – Quarterback – Washington Football Team (9-4)

The former BYU quarterback was 28/38 passing for 291 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Saints’ 24-21 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Hill also ran the ball five times for 33 yards.
