Dolphins Safety Eric Rowe Snags Second Interception Of Season In Loss To Chiefs

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah Utes and current Miami Dolphins safety Eric Rowe intercepted Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes during the Week 14 matchup between the two teams.
Miami hosted Kansas City on Sunday, December 13.
With 52 seconds remaining in the opening quarter, Mahomes threw a pass intended for Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Rowe broke on the ball and picked it off.
The former Utah safety returned the interception 22 yards into Kansas City territory.
It was Rowe’s second pick of the season.

Miami’s following possession resulted in a field goal and a 10-0 lead for the Dolphins.
The Chiefs came back and won the game, 33-27.

Rowe finished the game with seven total tackles, six solo tackles, two pass breakups, and one interception.

With the loss, the Dolphins fell to 8-5 on the season.
Miami’s next game is against the New England Patriots on Sunday, December 20 at 11 a.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on CBS.
