BYU RB Lopini Katoa Bursts Up Middle, Extends Cougars’ Lead With TD Against Boise State

BOISE, Idaho – BYU running back Lopini Katoa bursted up the middle of field and into the end zone to extend the Cougars’ lead over the Boise State Broncos.
The No. 21 Broncos hosted the No. 9 Cougars at Albertson’s Stadium in Boise, Idaho on Friday, November 6.
With the Cougars up 31-3, Katoa took a handoff from BYU quarterback Zach Wilson and sprinted up the middle of the field and across the goal line for six points.
Katoa’s touchdown run and an extra point kick by Jake Oldroyd stretched BYU’s lead over Boise State to 38-3.

The run gave Katoa five carries for 53 yards and a touchdown. He also had one catch for three yards.
