BYU QB Zach Wilson Tosses Pair Of Excellent Deep Throws On TD Drive Against Boise State

BOISE, Idaho – BYU quarterback Zach Wilson threw a pair of great deep passes leading to a Cougar touchdown in the third quarter against the Boise State Broncos.
The No. 21 Broncos hosted the No. 9 Cougars at Albertson’s Stadium in Boise, Idaho on Friday, November 6.
Wilson’s first deep shot went 38 yards to Dax Milne on 3rd & 5 from the BYU 19-yard line.

On the following play, Wilson followed up with another 38-yard toss to BYU wide receiver Gunner Romney.
The pair of throws moved the Cougars to the Boise State five-yard line.

Wilson finished the drive with a five-yard pass to Issac Rex on 1st and Goal.
The touchdown and extra point kick by Jake Oldroyd gave the Cougars a 23-3 lead over the Broncos.

After the score, Wilson was 15/19 passing for 210 yards and a touchdown.
The Heisman Trophy hopeful also had a touchdown run during the first half.
