Tony Finau Finishes Fifth In BMW Championship After Strong Final Round

OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. – Tony Finau finished fifth in the BMW Championship after shooting a 65 in the final round to get into the top 5.
Entering the final round on Sunday, Finau was in 15th place at +4 but turned that around in the final round with a -5, 65 score and ended the tournament at -1.
Jon Rahm took home the BMW Championship after defeating Dustin Johnson in a playoff.
A perfect putt at the perfect time.

Finau’s Round
Finau had an average round on the front nine, starting with three straight pars to open the final round. He made his first birdie on the fourth hole, followed by two pars and then his first and only bogey of the round on No. 7. Finau capped the front nine with two pars and a even score.
The back nine is when Finau took off. He started with a par on No. 10 before rattling off four straight birdies. Finau made par on the next three holes before finishing the round with a birdie.
