Lions RB Jamaal Williams Scores Against Seahawks For First TD Since September

SALT LAKE CITY – Former BYU and current Detroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams found the end zone for the first time since September 2021 during a Week 17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
The Seahawks hosted the Lions at Lumen Field on Sunday, January 2.
With 7:04 remaining in the fourth quarter, Williams burst across the goal line for a one-yard touchdown run.

It was Williams’ first score since September 26, 2021.

Seattle defeated Detroit, 51-29.
Williams finished the game with 11 carries for 22 yards and a touchdown. He added three catches for 22 yards out of the backfield.
The former BYU star entered the contest with 129 rushes for 536 yards and two touchdowns this season.
With the loss, the Lions fell to a record of 2-13-1.
Detroit will end the regular season against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, January 9 at 11 a.m. (MDT) on FOX.
