Jets QB Zach Wilson Tosses TD Pass For Lead Over Buccaneers

SALT LAKE CITY – Former BYU and current Jets quarterback Zach Wilson threw a touchdown pass to give New York a lead over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Jets hosted the Buccaneers at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, January 2.
With 13;43 remaining in the first half, Wilson connected with Braxton Berrios for nine yards and six points.

The Wilson-Berrios connection gave the Jets a 14-7 lead.
Wilson’s throw capped a 13-play, 74-yard drive that took 7:00 off the clock.
After the scoring toss, Wilson was 8/11 passing for 71 yards and a touchdown. He had a rating of 119.9.
The former BYU star entered the game having thrown for 2,013 yards, seven touchdowns, and 11 interceptions this season. In addition to throwing the ball, Wilson has run the ball 25 times for 161 yards and four touchdowns this season.
New York’s game against Tampa Bay is televised on FOX.
