Gobert Throws Down Slam Dunk On Alley-Oop From Niang During Grizzlies/Jazz Game

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz center Rudy Gobert crushed the rim with a slam dunk on an alley-oop from Georges Niang during Utah’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Jazz hosted the Grizzlies at Vivint Arena for Game One of the first round NBA Playoff series on Sunday, May 23.
With 8:56 left in the fourth quarter, Niang lobbed a pass up in the air before Gobert caught the ball and powerfully threw it through the cylinder.
Gobert’s jam cut Memphis’ lead to 94-82.

After the slam, the Jazz center had 10 points on 4-4 field goals.
He also added 14 rebounds and three blocks during his time on the floor.

Gobert was one of two Jazzmen who had posted a double-double up to that point in the ball game.
Mike Conley led the Jazz with 19 points and 10 assists.
This season, the center is averaging 14.3 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game.
