SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz center Rudy Gobert blocks pair of shots in 30-second span during Utah’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Jazz hosted the Grizzlies at Vivint Arena for Game One of the first round postseason series on Sunday, May 23.

With 9:44 remaining in the third quarter, Gobert swatted a shot by Grizzlies center Jonas Valanciunas.

29 seconds later the two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year rejected an attempt by Memphis forward Kyle Anderson.

The pair of blocks were Gobert’s second and third of the contest.

After the blocked shots, the Jazz trailed 53-50.

Shortly after the swats, Gobert went to Utah’s bench with his fourth foul of the game.

During his first 17 minutes on the hardwood, Gobert had five points on 2-2 shooting. He also added 14 rebounds and posted a plus-nine rating while on the court.

This season, the center is averaging 14.3 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game.

Utah’s game against Memphis is broadcast on TNT, AT&T SportsNet, and 97.5 FM.
