SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz center Derrick Favors gave a spark to Vivint Arena with a big dunk late in the third quarter of Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs.
Derrick Favors has given the Jazz a big boost off the bench, mainly on the defensive end but that dunk gave the team some much needed energy against the Memphis Grizzlies.
With 3:27 left in the third quarter, Favors got the ball from Mike Conley and ran down the lane and threw it down with two hands with two Grizzlies around him.
Less than one minute later, Conley missed a floater in the lane but Favors collected and put the ball back in to put the Jazz within eight points.
