Celtics Get Hot From Perimeter In First Half
Boston had a tremendous start to the game when they made 6 of their first 7 three-pointers to jump out to an 8-point lead. They ended up with 7 triples in the opening quarter, missing just 5 attempts. The Jazz shot just 3-of-14 from the perimeter in the first 12 minutes of the game. Despite the poor shooting, Utah trailed by just three points at the end of the first.
The second quarter was better for the Jazz, making 4 threes in the quarter on 9 attempts. Royce O’Neale knocked down two triples, along with one from both Joe Ingles and Donovan Mitchell. Boston shot 37 percent from the floor in the second. Utah took a 48-47 lead into the locker room. Jaylen Brown was the bright spot for Boston with 20 points in the half.
