Rudy Gobert Scares Celtics F Grant Williams Into Airballed Layup

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert scared Boston Celtics forward Grant Williams into an airballed a layup in the second quarter on Tuesday night.
Rudy Gobert scared Grant Williams into an airballed layup in the second quarter when Boston Celtics center Robert Williams found Williams in the paint. Just as Grant caught the ball, Gobert appeared and he airballed the layup.
Gobert was able to catch the rebound and the Jazz ran the other way on the fastbreak.

Utah took a 48-47 lead at the halftime break. Donovan Mitchell led the Jazz with 12 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. Joe Ingles added 11 points on 3-of-6 shooting from downtown. Gobert finished with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks in 17 minutes.
Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the floor and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. Jayson Tatum had just 6 points on 3-for-10 field goal shooting.
It’s the second game that Utah is playing without Mike Conley, who is out with a hamstring injury that he suffered against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday.
The Jazz began a four-game homestand on Tuesday night with the Celtics. Utah will next face the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday, February 12, the Miami Heat on Saturday, February 13 and the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, February 15. All three games will begin at 7 p.m. MST and will be broadcast on AT&T SportsNet.
