Donovan Mitchell, Bojan Bogdanovic Sparks Jazz With Big Third Quarter Run Against Celtics

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz duo Donovan Mitchell and Bojan Bogdanovic led the team on a 15-4 run in the third quarter against the Boston Celtics.
Donovan Mitchell scored 7 points and Bojan Bogdanovic had 8 of those points for the Jazz when they had a 68-58 lead, forcing Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens to call a timeout.
Before the run started, the Celtics had a 54-53 lead after Jayson Tatum made two free throws. Utah head coach Quin Snyder challenged the foul but it was not successful.

Midway through the third quarter, Mitchell was up to 22 points and Bogdanovic had 11. Joe Ingles scored 14 points, while Rudy Gobert was working on a double-double with 9 points and 10 rebounds.
Jaylen Brown had 24 points in the game, including 20 in the first half. Tatum was up to 8 points on 3-of-12 shooting from the floor.
It’s the second game that Utah is playing without Mike Conley, who is out with a hamstring injury that he suffered against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday.
The Jazz began a four-game homestand on Tuesday night with the Celtics. Utah will next face the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday, February 12, the Miami Heat on Saturday, February 13 and the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, February 15. All three games will begin at 7 p.m. MST and will be broadcast on AT&T SportsNet.
