Weber State’s Starting Lineup Thrashes Idaho In Blowout Win

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Weber State’s five starters each score in double figures to lead the Wildcats in a blowout victory over the Idaho Vandals.
The Vandals hosted the Wildcats in the second game of a back-to-back series on Saturday, January 30.
With the win, Weber State swept the season series between the two schools. The Wildcats took down the Vandals in the first game of the series on January 28.
All five players in Weber State’s starting lineup scored 11 points or more in an 81-62 win over Idaho.

The Wildcats took control of the contest in the first half with a 45-point performance in the opening 20 minutes of action. In the second half, Weber State built on a 10-point halftime margin and coasted to the win.
Seikou Sisoho Jawara’s 23 points on 10-15 shooting led the Wildcats in the 19-point victory. The Weber State guard connected on three of his five attempts from beyond the arc. He also added three rebounds and and assist.

The Wildcats finished the game shooting 52.7 percent overall and 47.6 percent on three-pointers.
Weber State limited Idaho to 43.9 percent from the field, including 36.8 percent from distance.

Gabe Quinnett led the Vandals with 13 points.
With the win, the Wildcats improved to a record of 9-4 on the season, including 4-2 in the Big Sky Conference. The Wildcats have won six of their last seven contests.

Weber State’s next game is against the Montana State Bobcats on Thursday, February 4 at 7 p.m. (MDT).
