Four Wildcats Score In Double Figures In Weber State’s Win Over Idaho

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Four Weber State players scored in double figures to lead the Wildcats in a blowout victory over the Idaho Vandals.
The Vandals hosted the Wildcats on Thursday, January 28.
Starters Seikou Sisoho Jawara, Zahir Porter, and Isiah Brown each score 14 or more points in Weber State’s 81-56 win.
Michal Kozak came off the bench and added 12 points on 5-5 shooting.

The Wildcats jumped out to a double-digit lead early in the first half and owned a 37-28 advantage at the halftime break.

Early in the second half, Weber State kicked it into another gear and put the game away before the 10-minute mark of the final 20 minutes.

The Wildcats outscored the Vandals by 16 points over the final 20 minutes of action.
Weber State finished the contest shooting 51.7 percent from the field, including 47.4 percent on triples.

The Wildcats held the Vandals to 41.8 percent shooting for the game and only 27.8 percent from behind the arc.
Gabe Quinnett led Idaho with 13 points.
With the win, the Wildcats improved to 8-4 on the season and 3-2 in Big Sky Conference play.

Weber State’s next game is the second of a two-game series with Idaho. The Vandals will host the Wildcats again on Saturday, January 30 at 1 p.m. (MDT).
