Utah Safety Vonte Davis Picks Off Deflected Pass From Washington’s Morris

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah safety Vonte Davis intercepted Washington quarterback Dylan Morris following a deflected pass.
The Huskies hosted the Utes on Saturday, November 28.
With 6:47 remaining in the fourth quarter, Morris’s toss was deflected by Utah’s JaTravis Broughton and landed into Davis’ hands.
Davis returned the ball 18 yards.
It was the third interception by Utah’s defense against the Washington quarterback.

Following the turnover, Morris was 17/29 for 201 passing yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions.
Davis had three total tackles, two solo tackles, and the fourth-quarter interception.
Broughton had four total tackles, three solo tackles, and a pass breakup.
After the play, the Utes held a 21-17 lead over the Huskies.

Utah scored 21 points in the first half while shutting out Washington.
In the second half, the Huskies scored 17 unanswered points.
