Marks’ First Career INT Leads To Bentley Touchdown During Utah-UW

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah cornerback Faybian Marks picked off Washington Huskies quarterback Dylan Morris for his first career interception. The turnover set up a touchdown by Utes quarterback Jake Bentley.
The Huskies hosted the Utes on Saturday, November 28.
With 7:58 left in the opening quarter of action, Utah’s defense pressure Morris into an inaccurate toss. Marks was in perfect position to intercept the pass and end Washington’s first offensive series.
The freshman defensive back returned the ball 28 yards to the Washington 48-yard line.
With 2:18 remaining in the first quarter, Bentley kept the football and ran it seven yards for a touchdown.
Bentley’s run capped a nine-play, 48-yard drive that took 5:40 off the clock.
The score gave the Utes a 7-0 lead.
Through the first two offensive series by the Utes, Bentley was 5/6 for 46 passing yards. On the ground, he had four carries for 20 yards and the touchdown.
