PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Arizona Cardinals will start off the season with quite a test, opening on the road in Week 1 against the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers.

Arizona’s slate includes two primetime games, in Week 6 at Dallas on Monday Night Football and on the road against Seattle in Week 11 for Thursday Night Football.

The Cardinals’ opponents were known in mid-December as the NFL standings were locked in.

In 2020, Arizona will face every team from each of the NFC East and AFC East. As usual, the Cardinals will also take on the NFC West’s Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams, each once at home and once away.

Because Arizona finished last in its division, it will also play two teams that fared similarly. The Cardinals face the NFC North’s Detroit Lions at home and the NFC South’s Carolina Panthers on the road next year.

The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins will visit State Farm Stadium in their first trips to Glendale since 2012. The Eagles’ last trip to Arizona came in 2014.

The Cardinals will also travel to New Jersey twice to take on the New York Giants and New York Jets.

It’s the first time since 2012 that Arizona will travel to New England to clash with the Patriots, who enter their first year of the post-Tom Brady era. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury’s team will also make its first trip to Dallas since 2014.
