Former Cougars, Utes Make Big Plays During Final Week Of NFL’s Regular Season

SALT LAKE CITY – Former BYU Cougars and Utah Utes made big plays to lead the local players during the final week of the regular season.

Here is how all of the players with ties to the state of Utah performed during the 18th week of the 2022 NFL season.

Former Utah Utes

Leki Fotu – Defensive Lineman – Arizona Cardinals (4-13)

The former Utah defensive lineman had one tackle in Arizona’s 38-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Tyler Huntley – Quarterback – Baltimore Ravens (10-7)

The former Utah quarterback was inactive for Baltimore’s 27-16 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Marcus Williams – Safety – Baltimore Ravens (10-7)

The former Utah defensive back had seven total tackles, five solo tackles, one tackle for loss, and a pass breakup in Baltimore’s 27-16 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Jaylon Johnson – Cornerback – Chicago Bears (3-14)

The former Utah defensive back is on Chicago’s Injured Reserve list. The Bears suffered a 29-13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Garett Bolles – Offensive Line – Denver Broncos (5-12)

The former Utah offensive lineman is currently on Denver’s Injured Reserve list with a leg injury. The Broncos beat the Los Angeles Chargers, 31-28.

Tim Patrick – Wide Receiver – Denver Broncos (5-12)

The former Utah wide receiver is currently on Denver’s Injured Reserve list with a knee injury. The Broncos beat the Los Angeles Chargers, 31-28.

Julian Blackmon – Safety – Indianapolis Colts (4-12-1)

The former Utah defensive back had eight total tackles, six solo tackles, one tackle for loss, and a fumble recovery in Indianapolis’ 32-31 loss to the Houston Texans.

Zack Moss – Running Back – Indianapolis Colts (4-12-1)

The former Utah running back had 18 carries for 114 yards and one touchdown in Indianapolis’ 32-31 loss to the Houston Texans. Moss also had three receptions for seven yards and one tackle.

Devin Lloyd – Linebacker – Jacksonville Jaguars (9-8)

The former Utah linebacker had two total tackles and one solo tackle in Jacksonville’s 20-16 win over the Tennessee Titans on Saturday, January 7.
