Colts RB Zack Moss Powers Into End Zone For First Touchdown Of Season

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Utes and current Indianapolis Colts running back Zack Moss fought his way through multiple Houston Texans on his way into the end zone for his first touchdown of the season.
The Colts hosted the Texans at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday, January 8.
With 6:40 left in the third quarter, Moss burst for 15 yards and through potential tackles for six yards.
Moss’ first touchdown of the season helped cut Houston’s lead to 17-14.

Moss’ rush capped a five-play, 49-yard drive that took 2:48 off the game clock.
After the run, Moss had 11 carries for 85 yards and a touchdown. He also had three receptions for seven yards.
Entering the game against the Texans, Moss had run for 342 yards on 75 carries this season. He’d also recorded eight receptions for 32 yards. The former Utah standout was traded by the Buffalo Bills to the Colts midway through the season. Since arriving in Indianapolis, Moss had run 58 times for 251 yards prior to Week 18.

The Colts entered the regular season finale with a 4-11-1 record this season.

About Zack Moss
In college, Moss is the career rushing leader in Utah football history. He holds the following records at Utah:
- Most career 100-yard rushing games
- Rushing touchdowns
- Rushing yards

- Most 1,000-yard rushing seasons
- Rushing attempts
Moss was drafted by the Bills in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft with the 86th overall selection.
As a rookie in 2020, Moss played 13 games, recording 481 rushing yards on 112 carries and four touchdowns. He also had 14 receptions for 95 yards and one touchdown.
In 2021, Moss appeared in 13 games, while rushing for 345 yards and four touchdowns. He added 23 receptions for 197 yards and one touchdown.
Through his time in Buffalo, Moss ran for 917 yards on 225 carries for eight touchdowns. Through the air, Moss had 44 receptions for 319 yards and two touchdowns.
