SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson hit a three-pointer while getting fouled and drained a free throw to complete a four-point play against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Clippers hosted the Jazz at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, November 6.

With 8:33 left in the first half, Clarkson shot the ball from 25-feet away from the basket. He was fouled by Robert Covington as the ball sailed through the cylinder. The former NBA Sixth Man of the Year went to the free throw line and drained a foul shot to give Utah a 40-31 lead.

Midway through the second quarter, Clarkson had a team-high 17 points on 6-9 field goals, including 4-5 from three. He added two assists during his first 14 minutes of action.

This season, Clarkson is averaging 17.4 points per game on 41.8 percent shooting and 36.3 percent from distance.

Utah’s game against Los Angeles is broadcast on AT&T SportsNet, NBA League Pass, and KSL Sports Zone.

Jazz vs. Clippers

After Friday’s win over the Lakers in Los Angeles, the Jazz moved to 7-3 on the season.

The Jazz have an opportunity to enjoy their win in Los Angeles on Saturday before facing the 5-4 Clippers at Crypto Arena.

The Clippers opened the season at 2-4, but have bounced back with three straight wins, including a victory on Friday night over the Spurs in San Antonio.

Los Angeles led the Spurs by as much as 17 in the first quarter, but watched that lead quickly wash away after a 40 point second quarter from San Antonio.

The Spurs led by as much as 10 before Paul George took over the game and led the Clippers to a 113-106 victory. George had 32 points on 11-16 shooting in the win.

Though the Clippers have won four straight, they haven’t been healthy. Kawhi Leonard has played a total of 42 minutes this season after returning from a knee injury that caused him to miss all of last season.

Leonard is believed to have avoided serious reinjury despite having missed the last five games of the year.

The Clippers three consecutive victories include back-to-back wins over the Houston Rockets last week.
