Clarkson, Jazz Torch Net From Three To Start Game Against Clippers

SALT LAKE CITY – Jordan Clarkson and the Utah Jazz ripped the net from beyond the arc during the opening quarter of action against the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Clippers hosted the Jazz at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, November 6.
Utah and Los Angeles were tied 28-28 at the end of the first 12 minutes of game time. The Jazz shot 62.5 percent overall and 6-10 on three-pointers.

At the end of the first quarter, Clarkson had a team-high 10 points on 4-6 shooting, including 2-3 from beyond the arc. The Missouri product added two assists and posted a plus-four rating during his first nine minutes on the court.
Utah’s game against Los Angeles is broadcast on AT&T SportsNet, NBA League Pass, and KSL Sports Zone.
Jazz vs. Clippers
After Friday’s win over the Lakers in Los Angeles, the Jazz moved to 7-3 on the season.
The Jazz have an opportunity to enjoy their win in Los Angeles on Saturday before facing the 5-4 Clippers at Crypto Arena.
The Clippers opened the season at 2-4, but have bounced back with three straight wins, including a victory on Friday night over the Spurs in San Antonio.
Los Angeles led the Spurs by as much as 17 in the first quarter, but watched that lead quickly wash away after a 40 point second quarter from San Antonio.

The Spurs led by as much as 10 before Paul George took over the game and led the Clippers to a 113-106 victory. George had 32 points on 11-16 shooting in the win.
Though the Clippers have won four straight, they haven’t been healthy. Kawhi Leonard has played a total of 42 minutes this season after returning from a knee injury that caused him to miss all of last season.
Leonard is believed to have avoided serious reinjury despite having missed the last five games of the year.
The Clippers three consecutive victories include back-to-back wins over the Houston Rockets last week.
