Taylor, in his eighth season as a big leaguer and second with Kansas City, sprinted to the deepest part of the ball park after Knizner roped a 1-2 pitch to deep center field. After finding the wall with his hand as he tracked the ball, Taylor planted his right foot about halfway up the nine foot wall and propelled himself high enough to make the highlight reel catch.
The play not only robbed Knizner of his fifth career home run, but it ended the fifth inning with the Cardinals hanging on to a 1-0 lead.
