Former Ute Kyle Kuzma Enters Health Protocols, OUT for Jazz/Wizards Game

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Utes and current Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols and is listed as “OUT” against the Utah Jazz.
The Wizards are slated to host the Jazz on Saturday, December 11.
“Kyle Kuzma (health and safety protocols) is out tonight vs. Utah,” the Wizards tweeted six and a half hours before tip-off.

Kuzma is in the middle of his fifth season in the NBA.
After his time in college at Utah, Kuzma was originally selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft.
This season, Kuzma is averaging 13.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 32.8 minutes per contest.
During his 302-game career, Kuzma has recorded 15.1 points, 5.9 boards, and 2.0 assists per game.
The Wizards enter the matchup with the Jazz owning a 15-11 record, including 8-3 at home.
The Jazz are 18-7 this season, including a 9-3 record away from Vivint Arena.
