SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz dismantled the shorthanded Philadephia 76ers 120-85 to snap a two-game home losing streak.

The Jazz were led by Bojan Bogdanovic who had 27 points in the victory, including his best shooting night of the season connecting on 9-12 shots from the floor including 5-7 from the three-point line.

The 76ers were led in scoring by the backcourt of Shake Milton and Tyrese Maxey, each of whom had 16 points, but were playing without Joe Embid, Ben Simmons, Matisse Thybulle, and Danny Green.

First Quarter

The Jazz defense was engaged early against the Sixers, as Philadelphia’s younger roster tried to challenge Gobert at the rim.

The team’s hands were also active on the perimeter as the Jazz recorded five blocks and two steals in the first 12 minutes of the game.

Additionally, the Jazz were able to see some shots go down as they connected on 13-24 field goal attempts despite shooting just 2-10 from the three-point line.

But, after building a 28-18 lead, the Sixers second unit closed the first quarter n a 10-2 run, to keep the game close.

After one, the Jazz led Philly 30-28.

Second Quarter

After the Jazz last game, Quin Snyder talked about the Jazz not pushing 17 point leads late in the half to 20, and instead seeing them drop to 10-12 points.

The Jazz built their lead to as large as 23 midway through the second quarter, but a series of silly fouls and missed free throws allowed the Sixers to trim the lead to 16.

On the bright side for the Jazz, they knocked down 4-6 from the three-point line in the quarter to climb from 20 percent shooting after the first quarter to 35 percent at the break.

At the half, the Jazz led the Sixers 63-47.

Third Quarter

The Jazz blew the game open in the third quarter thanks to seven made threes on 12 attempts.

The team also assisted on 11 of their 13 baskets in the quarter, a welcome sign after the way the ball has stuck in recent games during the Jazz losing streak.

The 76ers meanwhile had just six makes in the corner compared to four turnovers, as they managed just 19 minutes coming out of the half.

After three, the Jazz led the Sixers 97-66.

Fourth Quarter

The Jazz were able to empty the bench over the final half of the third quarter after building a 31 point lead thanks to continued hot shooting from Bojan Bogdanovic.

The Croatian sharpshooter knocked down 5-7 threes en route to a game-high 27 points in the Jazz easy victory.
