Brewer, Kuithe Connect For Utes’ First Touchdown Of Rivalry Game Against BYU

PROVO, Utah – Utah quarterback Charlie Brewer connected with tight end Brant Kuithe to score the Utes’ first touchdown of the rivalry game against the BYU Cougars.
BYU hosted Utah for the rivalry game at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday, September 11.
With 7:22 left in the second quarter, Brewer found Kuithe flying down the middle of the field and hit his tight end with a 20-yard strike.
Kuithe caught the ball in the end zone and gave the Utes their first touchdown of the game.
The Brewer-Kuithe connection cut BYU’s lead to 10-7.

The play capped a six-play, 80-yard drive that lasted 3:15.
Brewer was 5/9 passing for 43 yards, one touchdown, and an interception.

Kuithe had two catches for 25 yards and a touchdown.
The Utah vs. BYU game is broadcast on ESPN and KSL News Radio 102.7 FM and 1160 AM.
