BYU QB Jaren Hall Hits WR Neil Pau’u For First Touchdown Of Rivalry Game Against Utah

PROVO, Utah – BYU quarterback Jaren Hall found Neil Pau’u for a four-yard completion and the first touchdown of the rivalry game against the Utah Utes.
BYU hosted Utah for the rivalry game at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday, September 11.
With 10:37 left in the second quarter, Hall hit Pau’u on the sideline on 3rd & Goal.
Pau’u turned towards the pylon and reached across the goal line for the game’s first touchdown.

The Hall-Pau’u connection gave BYU a 10-0 lead over Utah.
It capped a 14-play, 72-yard drive by the Cougars.
BYU’s first points of the game came during the first quarter on a field goal by Jake Oldroyd.
After the touchdown drive, Hall was 5/10 passing for 23 yards and a touchdown. He added three carries for 16 yards.

Pau’u had two catches for three yards and a touchdown.
