Weber State Basketball Adds Non-Conference Game With Utah Valley

OGDEN, Utah – The Weber State Wildcats announced that they have scheduled a non-conference clash with Utah Valley on Saturday, January 2.

Weber State had their two Big Sky Conference games scheduled for this week with Idaho State canceled so that led to the Wildcats scheduling a game with Utah Valley.
The game will be played at the Dee Events Center in Ogden on Saturday with tip-off scheduled for 2:30 p.m. MST. No spectators are allowed to attend the game but fans can watch on Pluto TV channel 1054 and heard on the radio on 103.1 FM “The Wave.”
Weber State is 3-3 overall this season and 1-1 in Big Sky play. They have had four games canceled this season, including the Idaho State series this week. At this time, all Big Sky games that are canceled will not be rescheduled. The Wildcats have wins over Westminster, Adams State and Portland State. Their losses came against Boise State, Portland State and BYU.
Weber State leads the series with the Wolverines, 7-6.
After the clash with Utah Valley, Weber State is scheduled to return to Big Sky play on Thursday, January 7 and Saturday, January 9 at home against Eastern Washington.

Utah Valley is 2-4 this season and 0-2 on the road. Their last three games against Idaho State (Dec. 19), Air Force (Dec. 23) and San Diego Christian (Dec. 29) have been canceled. The Wolverines last played on December 15 when they lost to the Utah Utes at the Huntsman Center. UVU has wins over Adams State and Westminster. Their losses came against BYU, Southern Utah, Wyoming and Utah.
After the game against Weber State on Saturday, the Wolverines are scheduled to begin WAC play with a two-game series at home against California Baptist on Friday, January 8 and Saturday, January 9. Both games will tip-off at 6 p.m. and can both be streamed on the KSL TV app.
