Utah Valley Game Against Air Force Canceled Due To COVID-19

OREM, Utah – Utah Valley men’s basketball announced that their game against Air Force has been canceled due to COVID-19 related issues within the UVU program.
Their game was originally scheduled to be played in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Wednesday, December 23.
The Wolverines’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, December 29 at home against San Diego Christian. The game will tip-off at 6 p.m. MST and will be broadcast on the KSL TV app.

It’s the second straight game that UVU had a game canceled. They were supposed to play Idaho State on Saturday, December 19. Also, UVU’s first game of the season against Stanford was canceled on November 25 due to COVID-19.
Mark Madsen’s team is 2-4 this season. They have wins over Adams State and Westminster, while falling to BYU, Southern Utah, Wyoming and Utah.
The game against San Diego Christian will be UVU’s last non-conference game of the 2020-21 season. They will begin Western Athletic Conference play with a two-game series at home against California Baptist on Friday, January 8 and Saturday, January 9.
