SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – ESPN’s television broadcast missed an offensive series by Utah during the third quarter of the game between the Utes and the No. 20 USC Trojans.
The Utes hosted the Trojans at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, November 21.
Late in the third quarter, ESPN’s cameras went dark and left viewers without game action.

Play-by-play announcer Dave Flemming and analyst Rod Gilmore, who were not in attendance and called the game remotely, were left to describe the situation without being present inside Rice-Eccles Stadium.
I told you all to have low expectations for this season earlier. I did not realize they would be this low…stay positive. #FreeTheCameras

After several minutes and a commercial break, the cameras came back online and the broadcast continued.
Without the televised action, the Utes’ offense began to move the ball downfield.
USC punts the ball and Utah will take over at their own 15-yard line.
