Former Utah RB Zack Moss Signs Four-Year Deal With Buffalo Bills

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah running back Zack Moss has agreed to a four-year contract with the Buffalo Bills.

The details on the contract have not yet been released.

Moss was taken in the third round with the 86th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills.

The former Utah running back shared his excitement on Twitter of reaching a deal with the Bills.

According to Spotrac.com, Moss signed a four-year deal worth $4,612,316 with a $914,417 signing bonus. His salary will increase every year through the contract. In 2020, Moss will make $838,604 with $610,000 base salary and $228,604 of his signing bonus. That amount of his signing bonus will be given to Moss every year of his contract. In 2021, Moss will make $819,650 base salary with it going up to $1,029,300 in 2022 and $1,238,950 base salary in the final year of his contract.

In total, Moss will make $1,048,254 including his signing bonus in 2021, $1,257,904 in 2022 and $1,467,554 in 2023.

Moss joins defensive end A.J. Epenesa, wide receiver Gabriel Davis, quarterback Jake Fromm, wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins, kicker Tyler Bass and cornerback Dane Jackson as rookies to sign their contracts.

The Florida native broke several records during his time at Utah including career carries with 712, career rushing yards with 4,067, 18 career 100-yard rushing games, 38 career rushing touchdowns, career all-purpose plays with 778 and career total touchdowns with 41. Moss was also named the 2019 Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year.
