MELBOURNE, Aus. – Following their exhibition loss to Australia on Friday night, the United States National Team finalized their 12-man roster.
No surprise that Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell made the roster that will compete in the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China beginning on August 31.
Mitchell was going to make the roster regardless but the decision by the coaching staff was easy when former Ute and current Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma leaving the team after suffering an ankle injury. He was ruled out of the FIBA World Cup and is back in Los Angeles for treatment.
