Brady led the Chargers with seven total touchdowns.

Following the opening kickoff, Bryton Brady took the ball 56 yards down the near sideline for a big gain to move the Chargers into Lehi territory.

A few plays later, Brady powered his way across the goal line and into the end zone for a Corner Canyon touchdown. The score gave the Chargers an early 7-0 lead with 9:32 left in the first quarter.

The Pioneers were unable to rebound on their first drive of the game and punted the ball back to the Chargers.

On Corner Canyon’s next possession, the Chargers marched down the field and punched the ball into the end zone with another Brady touchdown. The touchdown stretched Corner Canyon’s lead to 14-0.

Like its first possession, Lehi punted the ball to Corner Canyon to end the Pioneers’ next drive.

With 3:35 to go in the first quarter and after the Chargers moved into Pioneer territory on a big run by Isaac Wilson, Brady broke free and found paydirt for the third time. Brady’s hat trick touchdown extended Corner Canyon’s lead to 21-0.

Early in the second quarter, the Chargers continued their dominance. With 8:55 to play in the first half, Wilson found Brady on a screen and the running back sprinted into the end zone for his fourth touchdown of the game. Brady’s touchdown reception gave Corner Canyon a 28-0 lead.

Despite the four-score deficit, the Pioneers didn’t quit.

With 7:32 left in the half, Jett Niu hit Ezaiah Mama down the near sideline and the wideout took the ball into the end zone for Lehi’s first points of the afternoon. The Niu-Mama connection cut Corner Canyon’s lead to 28-6.

On Corner Canyon’s next drive, Brady burst for a 73-yard touchdown, his fifth score of the first half. Brady’s catch and run gave the Chargers a 35-6.

With 2:58 left in the second quarter, Niu found Grayson Brousseau for the Pioneers’ second score. Lehi’s second touchdown made the scoreboard read 35-13.

After a kickoff, the Chargers immediately went back to work. On Corner Canyon’s first play of the drive, Wilson connected with Jerome Myles for an 80-yard touchdown. The score stretched Corner Canyon’s lead to 42-13 with 2:46 before the break.

With 17 seconds left in the second quarter, Gavin Fenn made a 52-yard field goal to cut Corner Canyon’s lead to 42-16.

Midway through the third quarter, the Chargers got their second half scoring started with another touchdown run by Brady, his sixth score of the game. The run put Corner Canyon up 49-16 with 5:08 left in the quarter.

With 1:05 to go until the final quarter, Wilson dumped the ball off to Brady, who sprinted down the sideline for another Charger touchdown and his seventh of the game. After a PAT, the Chargers took a 55-16 lead.

As the third quarter came to an end, the Corner Canyon defense picked off Niu to regain possession.

With 7:47 left in the game, Zion Finau powered his way across the goal line to secure another Corner Canyon touchdown. The goal line run pushed the Chargers’ lead to 63-16.

A couple of minutes later, the Pioneers cut into the Chargers lead with a touchdown pass from Niu to Justice Cooper. Lehi’s touchdown made it a 63-24 game with 5:10 to play.
