SALT LAKE CITY – Skyridge needed a second-half comeback to force overtime before prevailing against Pleasant Grove in overtime, 37-30.
The Falcons trailed 30-13 after Shawn Cottle returned a fumble 33 yards for a touchdown early in the third quarter.

From there, Jackson Stevens found Jack Burke for a pair of receiving touchdowns to set up a Blake Hester game-tying field goal with 13 seconds left.
In overtime, Carter Sheffield found the end zone from five yards out to give the Falcons the lead. The Skyridge defense stopped Pleasant Grove to seal the win.

Quarterfinal Round Recap For 6A Utah High School Football Playoffs
No. 10 Lone Peak Knights 21 @ No. 2 Corner Canyon Chargers 35
The Knights and Chargers battled to a 14-14 deadlock at halftime before Corner Canyon took control in the second half. The Chargers scored two third-quarter touchdowns and wouldn’t look back on their way to a 35-21 win.
Isaac Wilson threw for two touchdowns and ran for another for the Chargers. Zion Finau and Bryton Brady also scored rushing touchdowns for the Chargers.

No. 6 Davis Darts 21 @ No. 3 Lehi Pioneers 52
In a season-opening rematch, Lehi blew out the Darts thanks to 42 unanswered points between the second and third quarters. The Pioneers advance with a 52-21 victory.
After falling behind by 38 points late in the third quarter, Davis found the end zone twice in the final quarter.

Jett Niu threw three TDs, one each to Grayson Brousseau, Devaughn Eka, and Mays Madsen. Niu also ran for two of the Pioneers three rushing touchdowns.
Davis’ Tradon Bessinger connected with Kash Gates for three touchdowns in the loss.

No. 8 Bingham Miners 14 @ No. 1 American Fork Cavemen 42
The Cavemen outlasted Bingham 42-14 to advance in the 6A playoffs. AF scored 14 points in each of the first three quarters, building a 36-point lead before the Miners added a meaningless touchdown late.
Cavemen QB Dylan Story tossed three TDs with Josh Andrus catching two and finding Davis Andrews on the third. Dax Watts and Lucas Segura each added a score on the ground.
Carson Sudbury threw two touchdowns for Bingham.
