SALT LAKE CITY – The Atlanta Falcons reached an agreement with former Judge Memorial High School standout and New Orleans Saints linebacker Kaden Elliss, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

“The #Falcons make another big move on defense, as former #Saints LB Kaden Elliss is headed to Atlanta, sources say. With seven sacks and 78 tackles in 11 starts, he became a hot free agent. He shined in his opportunity, now cashes in,” Rapoport tweeted.

The NFL Network insider added that Elliss’ deal is worth $21.5 million over three seasons and includes $11 million guaranteed.

About Kaden Elliss

Elliss’ father, Luther, played college football at the University of Utah and in the NFL as a member of the Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos. He is currently the defensive tackles coach for the Utes’ football program.

Prior to his time in the NFL, the Salt Lake City native was a standout playing for the Judge Memorial Bulldogs.

After high school, Elliss played college football for the Idaho Vandals. He played at Idaho from 2014-18.

Following his college career, Elliss was selected by the Saints with the No. 244 overall pick during the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

He’s played in New Orleans for the past four seasons.

In 2022, the former Judge Memorial star recorded 78 total tackles, 43 solo tackles, seven sacks, two forced fumbles, and two pass breakups.

During his NFL career, the linebacker has posted 101 total tackles, 56 solo tackles, eight sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and two pass breakups in 48 games played.
