Real Salt Lake Signs Midfielder On Loan From SK Beveren
SALT LAKE CITY – Real Salt Lake announced that it has signed Moses Nyeman via loan from SK Beveren of Belgian A2 through the rest of the 2023 calendar year.
The Major League Soccer club announced the addition of the midfielder on Monday, February 20.
RSL announced that the club has an option to purchase Nyeman’s rights.
“Moses has shown well during this preseason in Utah, and has assimilated well to the group dynamic the last several weeks,” Real Salt Lake general manager Elliot Fall said in a statement. “We believe the glut of MLS experience gained at such a young age at D.C. United and his brief time with Beveren, as well as his life journey from Liberia to the U.S. youth national team system, have brought him to a point where he can contribute here.”

Prior to joining SK Beveren in August 2022, Nyeman played for the USL Championship’s Loudoun United and MLS’ D.C. United. He played for four seasons with the clubs from 2019-22.
During the four seasons with D.C. United, Nyeman recorded three assists, nine shots, and two shots on goals during 32 appearances.
“My arrival to RSL has been a breath of fresh air, I’ve really enjoyed the welcome that my teammates and the club have provided,” Nyeman said on officially joining Real Salt Lake. “I see that everything from our coaching staff to the boys and through to our second team is well-managed for our group success. I’m looking forward to continuing to work hard here, getting to know our fans and the community-at-large.”
